These Terms of Service govern your access to resumereveal.com, ResumeReveal Studio, and professional websites you create and publish with ResumeReveal.

1. Agreement and scope
By creating an account, accepting these terms, or using ResumeReveal, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. References to “ResumeReveal,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of the ResumeReveal application. These terms apply to visitors, account holders, and anyone who uses a ResumeReveal-published site.
2. Eligibility, accounts, and security
You must be legally able to enter this agreement where you live. If you use ResumeReveal for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for it. You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in provider secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. We may refuse automated, fraudulent, abusive, or impersonating registrations.
3. What ResumeReveal provides
ResumeReveal lets you create, edit, preview, and publish a professional website using templates, profile content, uploaded assets, and optional tools. Features may vary by plan, environment, device, or availability. We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features, but we will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss of saved content and provide notice of material changes when practicable.
ResumeReveal is a publishing and editing tool. We do not act as an employer, recruiter, career adviser, background-check provider, or guarantor of interviews, employment, clients, compensation, or other outcomes.
4. Your content and permission to operate the service
You retain ownership of the text, images, files, links, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You grant ResumeReveal a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, resize, format, and display User Content solely as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the features you choose to use. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to reasonable backup, security, and legal retention periods.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and publish your User Content and that doing so does not violate law, confidentiality duties, employment agreements, privacy rights, publicity rights, or intellectual-property rights. Do not publish private employer information, trade secrets, sensitive personal data, references’ contact details without permission, or content you are not authorized to disclose.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use ResumeReveal to:
- break the law, facilitate fraud, misrepresent your identity or qualifications, or impersonate another person or organization;
- publish content that is defamatory, threatening, exploitative, unlawfully discriminatory, invasive of privacy, or that infringes another person’s rights;
- distribute malware, phishing content, spam, credential-harvesting pages, or code designed to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems;
- probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, authorization, rate limits, security controls, plan restrictions, or service infrastructure;
- scrape, copy, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the service or its templates except as permitted by law or in writing; or
- consume resources in a way that unreasonably disrupts the service or other users.
We may investigate suspected violations and remove or restrict content or access when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or third parties.
6. Drafts, publishing, and public websites
Your draft is private until you publish it. Publishing makes the selected profile content, contact details, files, and links available on the public internet at the assigned website address. Public content may be viewed, copied, indexed, cached, archived, or shared by search engines and other third parties outside ResumeReveal’s control. Review your entire site before publishing. You can update or unpublish it in Studio, but removal from third-party caches may not be immediate.
Website addresses are allocated under ResumeReveal’s current rules. Free accounts may receive an assigned address; eligible paid plans may offer address selection and additional sites. An address is not ownership of a domain name or a permanent reservation. We may reclaim addresses that infringe rights, impersonate others, violate these terms, create security risk, or remain associated with a deleted account.
7. Optional AI-assisted features
Eligible users may deliberately invoke AI-assisted resume import or writing suggestions. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable. It is not professional, legal, immigration, financial, medical, or employment advice. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion, verifying facts, removing invented claims, and deciding whether to apply or publish it. ResumeReveal does not automatically change your saved draft without your action. Do not submit content to an AI feature unless you have the right to process it. The Privacy Policy explains how these requests are handled.
8. Free and paid plans
Some features, templates, usage allowances, or publishing options may require a paid plan. Prices, taxes, billing periods, renewal terms, cancellation instructions, and refund terms will be presented before a charge is authorized. Unless the checkout terms say otherwise, subscriptions renew for the displayed period until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal and ordinarily leaves access through the already-paid period. We may change future pricing or plan features with advance notice where required; changes do not authorize undisclosed retroactive charges.
9. ResumeReveal intellectual property and feedback
ResumeReveal’s software, templates, branding, documentation, and original design assets are owned by or licensed to the service operator and are protected by applicable law. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of the platform or permit you to extract or resell templates or assets. If you voluntarily provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, but we will not treat your private resume content as feedback.
10. Third-party services and links
ResumeReveal relies on service providers, including WorkOS for authentication and Cloudflare for hosting, storage, security, email delivery, and optional AI processing. Their services may be governed by their own terms. Your profile may also link to websites that ResumeReveal does not control. We are not responsible for independent third-party content, availability, security, or practices. A link or integration does not imply endorsement.
11. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
You may stop using ResumeReveal or permanently delete your account through Account settings. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access, remove content, or unpublish a site if we reasonably believe it violates these terms, creates legal or security risk, harms others, threatens service availability, or if required by law. When appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and responsibility for prior activity—remain effective.
12. Service availability and disclaimers
ResumeReveal is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of a particular feature or website address, preservation by third-party caches, or any employment or business result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability and responsibility for claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeReveal and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, data, or business interruption arising from the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid ResumeReveal during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify ResumeReveal and its operator from third-party claims arising from your User Content, your unlawful use of the service, or your material violation of these terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by ResumeReveal’s own unlawful conduct.
14. Changes, law, and general terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The effective date above will change when we do. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice and request renewed acceptance when required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Applicable law governs these terms without overriding mandatory consumer protections available where you live. Before filing a formal claim, you and ResumeReveal agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue through the support channel. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the service.
