Good research starts with listening. I’m a public health senior interested in the everyday conditions that make it easier—or harder—for people to stay well, from a reliable bus route to a clinic’s opening hours.
I combine quantitative analysis with community interviews, then translate the findings into maps, briefs, and practical recommendations. I’m looking for a team where careful methods and respectful collaboration matter equally.
Independent analysis
Combined public transit schedules with clinic locations to study access beyond straight-line distance. Built neighborhood maps, compared weekday and weekend travel times, and documented where the analysis could not capture a resident’s lived experience. Presented a short policy brief with recommendations for follow-up interviews.
Research communication
Designed a reusable briefing format with a one-page summary, annotated charts, and a clear explanation of uncertainty. Tested it with student researchers and community volunteers, replacing technical shorthand with questions people actually asked about the findings.
Mixed-method research · Course project
Paired a small observational study with public food-access data to understand the difference between proximity and practical availability. Produced a fieldwork guide, a documented analysis notebook, and an illustrated poster for the undergraduate research symposium.
