I’m a computer science senior who likes turning a frustrating workflow into something people actually enjoy using. My projects start with a conversation, a sketch, and a small version that someone can try.
Working at the campus IT desk taught me that reliability and clear explanations matter as much as clever code. I bring that mindset to accessible web applications, dependable APIs, and documentation that helps the next person pick up the work.
Event discovery · TypeScript, Workers & D1
Designed and built an event directory after student interviews revealed how easily smaller campus events were missed. Combined club submissions into one searchable calendar with interest filters, keyboard navigation, and saved schedules. Tested the first version with three student organizations and used their feedback to simplify sign-up.
Developer tools · React, Node.js & PostgreSQL
Replaced a paper help queue with a lightweight check-in tool for the programming lab. Tutors can see the next question, students can follow their place in line, and an anonymized summary helps the teaching team plan staffing. Added automated tests for queue ordering and concurrent check-ins.
Accessibility · Design system & documentation
Created a practical accessibility checklist and reusable form patterns for student developers. Each pattern includes keyboard behavior, error states, and screen-reader notes. Ran a workshop where participants audited their own projects and left with a short, prioritized improvement plan.
Lakeview University · Learning Technology
Help students and faculty troubleshoot classroom software, devices, and account access. Turn recurring questions into short troubleshooting guides and maintain a searchable knowledge base for a six-person student team. Built a loaner-device tracker to make handoffs and overdue reminders easier to follow.

Shipped improvements to a small-business scheduling dashboard alongside a designer and two engineers. Added accessible form validation, wrote API integration tests, and documented edge cases before release. Participated in weekly customer-support reviews to understand what needed fixing next.

Campus Computing Society
Host a weekly, beginner-friendly space to work on side projects, ask questions, and give thoughtful feedback. Pair new members with peer mentors and make time for a short show-and-tell at the end of each month.
Usually exploring Chicago by bike, photographing neighborhood architecture, or hunting for a good used book. I’m drawn to projects that make a small part of someone’s day a little easier.
